Conga Drums

Conga drums originated in Africa and Cuba. These drums are the most popular of the hand drums today. They come in a variety of woods as well as fiberglass, and are available in different sizes and contours. Congas are most common in the following four sizes: the superquinto or requinto is usually 9″ in diameter, the quinto is 11″, the conga is 11 ¾”, and the rumba is 12 ½”.
