In the late 90's electronic music was dominated by the sounds of funky breaks. With its ability to blend the trance, hip-hop and jungle it made its debut on the pop charts in 1997. Pioneered by artists such as Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, and The Prodigy it still continues to bring more and more electronic music into the mainstream.
