  Lyrics
Curving gently grace within your arms White on rose A blush before the pale of dawn I trace your breath elusive against the blue of time I long for life with you here among the Columbine Worlds within a world within a Drop of water rests upon your wrist As if I hear Horns sound translucent in the mist As if angels On the air a taste of the divine Fall to dreaming Lying here in the fields of Columbine Let me whisper tales of distant lands Distant echos hint at hope within Within a doorway home Doorways arch their pattern on your skin Your skin a-glow A glow of light as yearning starts its climb Climb with me beyond the blue hidden in the Columbine Courage found in quiet places In a single moment still I choose Choose as a child I leap beyond all that I have to lose Lost in your eyes and There a door in the ritual of design Fullfills a promise Held within a bloom of Columbine.

Review:   Wow - this is a great example of a capella with oneself. Very nice layering. My only complaint is that this song retained a studio sound, making it seem more "artificial" than it seems that it should have. I don't know how to explain it, but maybe it's just because of the fact that all the voices were done by one person. A live, on-stage performance of this song would be simply incredible. This is a very lovely song - no wonder it won a composition award. Nice job.
