Review:

Ok, I admit it, I'm a sucker for gospel music which is kind of weird as I'm not a religious guy or your average country music listener. But this review is not about my music listening styles although in a way it might. If Not For You is an unassuming and direct song sung simply and directly by Anne Minnery. There is an even handed and direct feel to the this song that is a trademark of gospel music and much in part because of Anne's voice. Musically interesting and something easy to enjoy beyond the blinders some of us put on when listening to music. One area of music that doesn't get discussed enough is sincerity and Anne Minerry comes across loud and clear in this department. In the end that's what matters most to me when listening to popular styles of music and in Where Would I Be it's clear and totally on target.
