  Lyrics
Merlin took a little baby boy as payment for some dragon's breath he raised him alone put a sword in a stone making sure that he passed the test and Lancelot was his champion such a beautiful face Guinevere whispered in his ear as the knights of the round table took their places Camelot never had a chance sabotaged by human nature the best ones always get taken betrayal's going on in the very next room no wonder that the gods disappeared the second man evolved beyond survival they won't be coming back too soon John he had a winning streak going he thought he just might change the world and when he spoke everyone would listen you know John he always got the girl poor Jackie tried to hold things together on the back of a limo as the bullets flew a dragon got loose in Camelot burning down the castle with the breath it blew Camelot never had a chance sabotaged by human nature the best ones always get taken betrayal's going on in the very next room no wonder that the gods disappeared the second man evolved beyond survival although you wrap yourself in stone it can't protect you they won't be coming back too soon they won't be coming back too soon

Review:   Really nice harmonies and very clever hyrics, along with a nice harmonica touch towards the end make for a very polished production. Good job!

Review:   I've heard two versions of this song. I like this version much better. The beauty of the melody and the pointed, poignant lyrics really shines through on this soft arrangement. I've listened to this song three times already, and I'm still not tired of it. Great stuff!!!
