A quest for truth. We turn inward and take an examining look at our own shortcomings. We all fall. Spiritualize, and thank God that the Son still shines.

Listening to the radio these days you'd think that hip-hop can't be Christian or even have a positive message. You'd also think that Christian music has to be sung by a gospel choir or sound "preachy". Take a listen to the Exiles and you'll realize this is wrong! This song have a strong message but presents it in a very interesting hip-hop format. Definitly one to check out!

Review:

This is superlative HipHop. Really full. Obviously the artist(s) gets inspiration from Christian
themes and while I don't identify with that (ie I give credit for the product to the artist not a higher power)
I can easily recognize the gratitude in this tune. Keyword: love - whether it's for your god, your fellows,
or yourself - that's the true source of inspiration. But this ain't a "sermon" it's a review. This song
is topshelf and a thoughtful commentary on the state of the union. In the end, it's a positive song and
that's a nice change for this genre.

Review:

I gave this track a couple of listens, as not being an authority on Hip Hop or Rap, I wanted to absorb as much as I could. One thing I can tell you, is the rap here is thoughtful and very well executed. The track flows as well, with a great bass driving you through. A couple of nice breaks also surprise, with the first one around the 3:23 mark. This track is nicely produced, and has something a little different to offer the genre, in that the message is positive in it's own right. Nice job!
