Wow! Vocals and lyrics with an attitude, but what a great leg stomping groove underneath. This tune is a LOT of fun, and seems more technically solid than most New Wave or Power Pop. Great work.

Lyrics
I used to have this one girlfriend...her name was Jenny. We did *everything* together. When I wasn't over at her place we were talkin' on the telephone. But now, but now Jenny's never home.
Jenny's Got A Boyfriend...
Well I guess there are other girls...but none like Jenny. A Good girlfriend is hard to find. Like, Debby is kind of strange and Sarah moved to Chicago. I can't believe Jenny would do this to me.
Jenny's Got A Boyfriend and she forgot about me...
Everybody's telling me it's only human nature
and I would do the same to her sooner or later. I would never, ever...oh...oh, Jenny!
I can only hope that he breaks her heart in two, and she'll come running back to me.
And we can talk on the phone about how stupid boys are, and things will be the way they were before
Jenny Got A Boyfriend..
Jenny's Got A Boyfriend...
and she forgot about me
Full Description
This song got us a spot on Farmclub.com TV. It
has also reached #1 on MP3.com's New Wave chart. Currently
it appears as the first track on the newly released national
compilation CD entitiled, "American Deisel Machine."
It started out being an innocent song about when your bestfriend disses you for her/his boyfriend/girlfriend. The band refused to play it. I changed it around to be a little more ambiguous...and A LOT less innocent...Jenny, Debby, and Sarah mentioned are real people. Debby doesn't like the fact that I said she is strange. She is though.
