Lyrics

Jack of Spades Won me a game About an hour ago Ive got a pocket full of money But nowhere to go Its pretty late And it must be fate That Im all alone Just the crickets outside Singing their nightly song But than the rain begins fall But theres no clouds in the sky at all Stars shine like diamonds in the night Than that light hits my eyes It hits my eyes Light hits my eyes Have you ever had that moment of truth, That makes things so clear Whats life about anyway Except for what we hold dear Well that money in my pocket You, take it my friend I dont know when Ill be needing it Or when Ill be back again But than the rain begins fall But theres no clouds in the sky at all Stars shine like diamonds in the night Than that light hits my eyes It hits my eyes Light hits my eyes Many things did I enjoy During my stay The enchanting smell of a flower On a warm summers day Its time to pack my bags My work here is done Ive got one last trip to make Than its time to run But than the rain begins fall But theres no clouds in the sky at all Stars shine like diamonds in the night Than that light hits my eyes It hits my eyes Light hits my eyes Ive got to fly Time to catch my ride One last goodbye And goodnight-
