Lyrics

simply, slowly, blindly my car glides on with self confidence, and smooth diplomacy into the horizon I drive on... stop to take it all in, revel in the moment but I move on truck stop ahead sure seems tempting loins tense at the thought, yea but I drive on... oh with Jesus on my dashboard I drive on... yea those pearly gates, oh those pearly hips a vision without compare the virgin smiling at me, but not in my eyes but lower, lower, lower still and I smile... and with Jesus on my dashboard I drive on... guard rails help provide a sense of calm oh, taxi dancing with Jesus oh you know that, well I drive on... like a snake charmer she's bringin' the kiss of life oh and I bow she presses her sex, rides my beer bottle you know I smile, yea but I drive on...

Excellent song! I simply loved the pace of the song, the parts all complimented eachother, and I absolutely LOVE the "Jesus on my dashboard..." chorus. Nicely done!

Man, I love the beat on this tune. The band is really tight! Lyrics are whimsical, grewt chicken scratch guitar. Really fun tune!

Drive On brings to mind a country-downed Blind Melon.. with the continuos gutiar riffs and mixed harmonizing on the vocals. I liked the country guitar progressions mixed with the choppy tempo, they keep the sound original. I wouldn't say I'm a diehard alt country fan at this point, but I did enjoy the song.
