Commerce is so messy.

But, I have no problem with this. Or at least I understand it.

Moving up the charts, however you do it, helps you to move up even further.

MP3.com set up the rules and it becomes a "game".

Just like in real life.

Remember, "music business" contains TWO words.

You should be proud that you are you.

Yeah, just like the real world. some people will do anything for money. Others have ethics.

Well, it's not necessarily money in this case, PF. More people discover your music, too. So, I understand why this is going on, is all.

And since when did you get to be the torchbearer for ethics, PF?

You used to be the most hard core guy here.

Have I pissed you off that much.

Kenney, After all this time, you may address me as Phil. Whether the cheating is going on for the money or the exposure, it's the same concept. I am not pissed off at you in the least. I view my statement as a view of my reality. Having a station play your songs but no one hears them is purely for money and in my view a low point even for mp3.con. Well when you deal with thieves I guess it's just easier to become one for some.

here are more examples...

http://bboard.mp3.com/mp3/ubb/Forum6/HTML/046485.html

if you'll notice the station guy said "without being listened too"

here's the funny part......
rene is now predicting the death of mp3.com
and recommending people sign up here......

hahahahahahahah
hang in there listensmnart may prevail after all.....
i guess we'll have a hamster stampede if this happens........................
and then these boards will be filled with cheaters......and fights.....oh boy..

the point i'm makin is this.....
i seem to recall people didn't like their musicians to "sell out"
yet these people are selling out before they are even in.....and doing it very cheaply too...
STILL,notesleb, hatchetman, even hard party and tundead...were right all along ...people place little or no value on their own music.......it is amazing......
i see where the same thing is going on in hollywood....i saw where the actors say you can't get paid anymore unless your a big name......because there are so many people that will work for free just to be in a major movie....or in a movie with a big star....now it's getting impossible to get paid for that.....because so many are willing to do it for free....for the (exposure and promo)
sound familiar..................

soon no one will be paid for anything....
because it's just so great to get the exposure and press and promo........
and there are always more than enough fame hungry scabs to do just that............

fuck em........

rene's reasoning is this
quick get all the money you can before they go down

doesn't he realize if they go down ...they probably ain't gonna pay you anyway.....

bwaaaahahahahaha
