You guys have been promising to do something about how the ID3 tags are deleted- I thought I had read that you guys were gonna be fixing that about 2 months ago. I just downloaded a song I just uploaded. NO ID3 tag. For this "My Play" thing to work, you can't delete the ID3 tags we set! GGrrrrrr, when are you gonna fix this! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hey weAp- We haven't forgotten about you. Sometimes certain things fall off the top of the priority board. I'm sure ID3 tags just happened to be one of them. Once we finalize the CD sales/ e-commerce functionality, we'll be able to move our focus elsewhere. Thanks for bearing with us. -Ben ------------------ IP: Logged |

Well... you got this pretty MAJOR hookup with My Play. If someone puts my stuff in thier My Play Locker, I know I want the artist and title to be shown on their playlist. This should have been dealt with when you partnered with My Play! Some stuff has to be put in the pile in the same place with other stuff that it is related to. ------------------ IP: Logged |

OK, this is sliding off topic, but can someone answer some questions for me? 1) I've always set the copyrighted flag to YES, but what does it actually do? 2) What's the problem with Joint Stereo? I've always used Stereo, but I never had a reason not to use Joint Stereo. 3) Can anyone explain Emphasis? As in 50/15ms, ccitt j.17, etc.? ------------------ IP: Logged |

j-stereo takesignal and forces it into an expanded stereo by taking the subtracting the sum of the two channels from the (shit - what's it called...) and splitting them between the two channels... it's an interesting effect... all my stuff on my MB site is in j-stereo - I don't have a problem with it... ------------------ [This message has been edited by MAGriff (edited 06-02-2000).] IP: Logged |

manI just looked at my post - it's even confusing me... here's the deal. if you have a really good stereo separation in your mix, or if you have some heavy duty stereo effects, don't use j-stereo... however, if your mix is very much to the center (as the stuff was on my album...) by all means - use it... ------------------ IP: Logged |
