THE ROBOTICA ALBUM HAS BEEN RELEASED! BUY IT NOW AT WWW.MP3.COM/GALBATRON !

Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: So full of life and
flair, it's impossible to ignore!

What started in september 1998 as a try-out, eventually became a giant
project that took more than 20 months to complete: today is the day... the
Robotica Album has finally been released!

"It was a huge project", says Eppo Schaap, "but somehow we pulled it off.
Actually the huge success of one of the first tracks on Robotica, Toccata et
Fuga, showed already that our band had potential." "In fact, we made so much
progress during the making of this album, that eventually we decided to
remix four of the early tracks because we thought they couldn't match our
newer songs", adds Loek.

According to both Eppo and Loek, none of this would have been possible
without the incredible support of the fans. "Whether we got stuck in a track
or just felt blue because things didn't go the way we wanted them to go,
there were always private e-mails and messages on the Galbatron Bulletin
Board that gave us the strength to continue our work. We owe our fans, we
really do."

Besides the music, the physical album also features some amazing artwork
from Galbatron's house designer: Aaron Bieber, a true graphic talent! Both
the full-colour cover as the full-colour two page inside booklet look
amazing. "I can stare at the artwork for hours and still love it", says Eppo

The Robotica Album features more than 50 minutes of incredible Symphonic
Electronica:

1. Robotica (The First Voyage) morphs from ominous symphonic electronica to
symphonic techno. The track features loads of insane special effects,
vocoders and NASA samples. This one is a real stage booster - it would be
great to see Galbatron perform this live, including fireworks and
lasershows! (REMIXED IN 2000)
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: Masters of old
style synthesizer songs!

2. Dix is the all-time favourite track of the die hard fans. It's the most
progressive track Galbatron ever made: lots of intricate patterns,
intertwining melodies and the fastest and longest synthesizer lead solos
you've ever heard bring this song to a grand climax.
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: An excellent
example of a digitalized Mike Oldfield!

3. Toccata et Fuga in D Minor is the most popular track Galbatron ever made.
This track even became 37th in the mp3.com general top 40. At some days it
got more than 800 downloads per day. Mp3Yak, a coalition of Grammy-winning
musicians and producers ranked this track with 4.5 stars out of 5. On top of
that, they featured it several times as Song of the Day. Bach would have
been proud! (REMIXED IN 2000)
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: An excellent remix
of a timeless classic!

4. Formula 1 is one of the tracks that was completely remixed, because
Galbatron felt the old version didn't match their standards anymore. The new
version sounds absolutely great, and many people from the Formula 1 world
already indicated that this is their all-time favourite. If you listen to
this track, you can literally see the cars racing by... Ingredients:
gasoline, race queens and SPEED! (REMIXED IN 2000)

5. The Widor Toccata is the sequel to Toccata et Fuga in D Minor. An
incredibly bombastic and 'grand' toccata, made by one of the biggest
composers this world has ever known: Charles Marie Widor. Featuring some
really powerful church organs, soaring synthesizers and pumping beats, it
pays hommage to an outstanding composition.
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: Again a reworked
winner of a classic piece!

6. Light One Candle is the only track on Robotica that contains real vocals,
and what vocals! The amazing voice of Ric Bonnell, who sings about despair,
war and the meaning of life, has brought tears to the eyes of many people. A
real heartbreaker.
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: This collaboration
of talented artists works well!

7. RAW42 TOP TRACK! Robotica (The Saga Continues) is one of the biggest
projects Galbatron has ever undertaken: three months in the making, this
eight minute track (featuring some screaming guitars!) takes you on it's
wings to show you the story of a robotic alien invasion in our solar system.
Raw42, the leading electronic review magazine on the web, listed this track
as one of the 42 best tracks of 1999. (REMIXED IN 2000 - RAW42 TOP TRACK)
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: So full of life and
flair, it's impossible to ignore!

8. RAW42 TOP TRACK! Robotica (The Final Apocalypse) is the biggest (6 months
in the making!) and most amazing project ever launched on mp3.com. Featuring
the Leusdome Apocalypse Choir (actually a one man show!) this is as
symphonic as symphonic electronica will ever get. Eight minutes of soaring
leads, bombastic timpani and huge orchestras make this song an experience
you'll never forget. Highly recommended! (RAW42 TOP TRACK)
Raw42, the leading electronic magazine on the web, says: As flawless as the
mastery of their keyboards!

9. The Interview on RealNetRadio is a bonus track of an interview
RealNetRadio conducted with Loek van Kooten early 2000. Loek tells about the
history of Galbatron, the Internet, mp3 and ofcourse... the future. And an
interview is nothing without music: Dix, Robotica (The Saga Continues), The
Final Curtain and Dragon Dance are some examples of the songs you can hear
in this interview. You don't want to miss this!

Fans hope this album will finally give Galbatron the recognition it
deserves. Review sites have called Galbatron 'The New Mike
Oldfield/Vangelis/Jarre' and 'Grand Masters of Symphonic Electronica'. "We
don't like to be compared to other artists because we feel we have a style
of our own", says Eppo, "but on the other hand we're pretty confident that
we can match the quality of reknown synthesizer artists".

Robotica is for sale at mp3.com for 9.99 USD. If you want to show your
support for Galbatron, buying the album is the best thing to do. "With out
current income, there's no way we can work on Galbatron full-time. If all
the fans buy our album though, that might change... it would give us the
opportunity to make more music, and more albums...", says Loek. "On top of
that, most of the Robotica tracks have been taken off mp3.com The album has
a *lot* of added value!", adds Eppo.

So to everybody that reads Galbatron's message above and thinks it is a lot of bloating...if you like Electronica music, listen to it and find out that it wasn't bloating...I often told Loek that a bit more modest attitude would be appropriate, I for one tend to do so, but then again, I am not as good as they are. Basically, if you can listen to an Electronica song without throwing up, buy this album and get baptised.

So far for my shameless support, one last word for Loek: BUY ONE? No way dude...send me 10

And now I am off to the States...catch ya'll in a few weeks...Vegas here I come.

Ruud.

I have no problems with writing bloating press releases: every company says their product is the best. If you don't believe in yourself, who else will? If I'm talking to somebody in private, ofcourse my tone will be very different. Just trying to sell a product

Thank you so much for the recommendation Ruud, I really appreciate it.

To all others: why are you still reading? Go get yourself our new album at www.mp3.com/Galbatron One of the tracks on it is the most popular track on ListenSmart (added to favourites most often)!!!
