once upon a time in a land called MP3 i was basicly bored and tired of petula clark being at the top of the charts so i invented this game..the davids(mp3 artists) vs goliaths(famous artist..personal goals whatever) the object of the game was to encourage the davids that even the goliaths are not unreachable.. it has become a fun game for me and i think the other davids..have even seen the station linked to artist pages..how kewl is that.. we have even had goliaths stop in and i have let them kno that their being a goliath is a good thing and that nothing malicious is intended..even sent ice packs to one of em..  even have a few goliaths that are now davids..checking in is a good thing as it moves you up on the station for each new thread plus it also pulls the davids together..your victory is our victory.. stones can be thrown from the station or from the artist's page..stones can come in any manner..d/l.. hi/lo plays.. mymp3 hits.. an email saying good luck..whatever.. DAVID WANNABEES..you need to post THE SONG and THE GOLIATH you want to go up against or i cant put you on the list.. and with that said.. let the stones fly..let the goliaths fall... le

Hi davids stoning for everyone through the night as usual!! haven't forgot, will be in touch Atomx!! (in the next few days) Extermination holding at number 11 thanks to all the Davids that are throwing stones for it. Top 5 ain't looking far away from where we are at 11 but there seems to be a mountain in our way. just have to take it apart stone by stone and give Goliath a few in the eye. Homeless (2nd generation) been at 28 now 31 and 32 but I've got a gut feeling that it could race up that Folk Chart with a bit of a push. Tears for Beers seem to do so with ease!! Because of all those stones you threw for us yesterday - we hung on to # 1 in Christian Pop - we fell back a couple in Pop to #20 (I think that's where we're destined to be) and our Goliath fell back 1 - so we're 5 spots away! Morning all, time to get my rocks off! Upto #101 in alternative general. I feel I'm getting no where in this genre, I've only once cracked the top 100! I still have the same goliath, but I'm transfering my song back to its original genre before I started on David and Goliath, Indie. Heeeey hey hey! How are all my favorite davids this morning? I'm dandy. I was up till 3 last night (well, this morning actually), working on a song. Turned out pretty good. Also worked some on my flash portal. Before I get too far into it i'm gonna try putting a simple little flash movie on there to make sure I can put flash on my artist page. That would really suck if i couldnt if anyone doesnt know what im talking about, im building this like control panel sort of deal for my artist page, all built in flash. it would have like info about my songs, myself, my fave links, some cool atomx downloads, and even some games (how bout some atomx inspired tetris or tic-tac-toe baby?). it's gonna be really cool, and mainly to make my page more sticky, meaning people will always be wanting to come back to it, and hopefully listen to my music alot more Well anyways, as far as charts go, ive got some good news and some bad news. Good news! I had the most total plays i've ever had yesterday, 57 (for many that may seem little, but its pretty big for me). "Use My Brain" alone had 33, the most IT's ever had as well. But, bad news.. I dropped 11 spots!!.... The competition is getting pretty fierce above me... But we can take em!! Right davids??? Are ya with me????? I SAID ARE YA WITH ME!?!? ok there goes my football coach shpeil of the day. Well anyways, gonna be downloading everyone as usual. Gonna continue my crusade of going down the list of people and downloading all their songs. The playlist I made from last night is still going. It got through the hi-fi, now its on lo-fi with about 52 songs to go. it'll get done. dont worry. Anyhoo I gotsta go. Thanks for all the support everyone. You're all really cool! Susan said it best. hi all you Davids AtomX, you are spot on, the big guys must be mounting an effort. we also got more hits than ever before on "Extermination" and "Homeless" yet both songs dropped in the Charts!! Persevere though Guys cause we will beat them off in the end. Will be stoning for you all later on tonight and I'm in a real good mood as I now know for sure that I will have Broadband by the end of Sept. at the latest. Boy will I really be able to throw some big stones. "Extermination" down to 13 from it's high of 10 but I'm sure we will get it in the top 5 yet!! i think the drop in stats have to do with new famous people being added to the charts..i noticed weird al is now on and having a gradn ole time at the top of the charts..so possibly that created the drop in chart position for everyone else.. shaky..what do you mean the downloads dont work..dang now i gotta go try it.. still am having problems updating the stations positions but i keep trying.. have a great nite.. le ------------------ IP: Logged |
