Musical Style :
• There is variety here also. At times the trio is influenced by Bill Evans as well as Keith Jarrett. What Time is it? has shades of Oscar Peterson and Kenny Barron. I Should Care has some Tommy Flanigan influences as well. The rhythmic grooves are diverse as well. There is Latin, rock, bossa, ballad and swing. Harmonies from different periods of music are evident here. Dense and spacious chords reminiscent of Ravel and Debussy contribute to the mixture of genres. There is also Tim Lyddon. It is me. It is organic and uncompromising. It is different, yet understandable. It is something most people will enjoy. I hope you will too.
Musical Influences :
• Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, Mcoy Tyner, Tommy Flanagan, Keith Jarret, Hank Jones, Oscar peterson, Jaki Byard, Chick Corea, herbie Hancock, Art Tatum, Wynton kelly
