| | From : | | • Phoenix | | Musical Style : | | • The gathering of sonic teasers that are Phrygia are so hard to pin down that it took me a while to try and choose a track from their excellent page. Yes they jump around in genres and throw things up like this that puzzle and please in one stroke. Time signature trickery melted with an industrial sound that has not been classified yet, forms a bond with elasticized space beats from a 70's Sci-fi film, re-shot for the millennium by Cylob fans. | | Musical Influences : | | • Muslimgauze, Eric Skogen, A Small Good Thing, Christopher..., Klunko, Lustmørd, Puola, William S. Burroughs, Red Joy Reid, Mahavatar, Heavy Vegetation, Julian Hope, Vin-Fiz. Spooky Electric, Spies in the Wires, Altered Perception, Enon, Phil Davis, Glean, LoveSpirals, Frankenstyne XXX, and JK Northrup
| | Brief Description : | | • Phrygia develops musical soundscapes that spark thought processes, enabling the listener to utilize this medium to further their efforts by aural stimulation.
| | Artist History : | | • Formed in October 2000. |
